I am a Senior Consultant at AdvizeX Technologies. I have been in the computer field for over 40 years and have concentrated on networking in the past 20 years. Before joining AdvizeX Technologies in March of 2014, I was a Senior Network Specialist at Cleveland State University, a position I held for over 20 years. I started my career as a COBOL/CICS programmer in 1985 for the City of Cleveland. In 1988, I accepted a position with Cleveland State University as a Systems Programmer, writing Assembler programs on an IBM Mainframe. In 1991, as networking was becoming more prevalent, I was asked to help start the Networking Group at CSU and accepted the position of Senior Network/Telecomm Specialist. About 4 years ago, I became interested in virtualization and led a project at CSU to virtualize most of the network computing platforms to vSphere. Currently, I am concentrating on VMware/NSX, network virtualization and the data center. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree of Science in Computer Science from Cleveland State University.
